1. About Biosat Precision Farming

Biosat Precision Farming is a digital precision-farming platform designed to help users digitally mark, map, manage, and monitor agricultural land and related farm information.

The platform may allow users to:

  • Mark or define agricultural land boundaries using location-based tools.
  • Map land from their current location or another permitted location.
  • View and manage saved farm or land records.
  • Add information related to farms, fields, crops, or agricultural activities.

2. Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating or using an account.

If you are using Biosat on behalf of a company, farm, organisation, family, or other entity, you confirm that you have the authority to use the Services on its behalf.

  • Location information displayed by the application may not always represent the exact physical position.
  • Land boundaries created using GPS or mapping tools should be independently verified where accuracy is important.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to access, mark, map, or manage the land information you enter into the application.

 

Biosat should not be considered a substitute for a licensed land surveyor, government land records, cadastral survey, or other legally recognised land measurement or boundary determination.

5. Accuracy of Land and Agricultural Information

Biosat provides digital tools intended to assist with agricultural and land management.

Measurements, maps, areas, coordinates, calculations, recommendations, or other information provided through the Services may contain inaccuracies or limitations.

You should independently verify important information before using it for:

  • Legal land transactions.
  • Property disputes.
  • Government applications. Registration or ownership claims.
  • Construction or development.
  • Financial decisions.
  • Agricultural decisions involving significant cost or risk.

 

Biosat does not guarantee that any map, measurement, boundary, area calculation, satellite image, GPS position, or other information is completely accurate, current, or legally authoritative.

6. User-Provided Content

  • Land boundaries and coordinates.

  • Documents.
  • Notes.
  • Measurements.
  • Other information entered through the Services.

 

You retain ownership of content that you submit, subject to the rights necessary for us to provide and operate the Services.

By submitting content, you grant Biosat a limited right to store, process, display, and use that content as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, improve, and support the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy.

You must not upload content that:

  • You do not have the right to use.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Biosat is not responsible for services or information controlled by third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

The Biosat Precision Farming application, website, software, branding, logos, designs, graphics, text, interfaces, databases, and other materials provided by Biosat are owned by or licensed to Biosat and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, lease, or commercially exploit Biosat’s intellectual property.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Services available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The Services may be temporarily unavailable due to:

You remain responsible for verifying information before relying upon it for important legal, financial, agricultural, or property-related decisions.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Biosat and its directors, employees, affiliates, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
